about

First track off the Demo CD : The Red Rhino Session Vol.1

“Since my schedule as a bartender was the dominant headline of my new lifestyle, I decided to write about it,” says Terouz. ''Sinners on St-Laurent is really an observation of the new guy in town to the nightlife of Montreal, yet it’s written with a slight abstract touch to leave the space for the listener to relate to his/her own experiences. It depicts the colours and sultry details of Montreal’s nightlife.”

lyrics

''Tomorrow's Lullaby''
lyrics and music by Karim Terouz

mixed up?
is a fool's dance loving?
you can't commit to one
suit yourself when you blues it out

now head's up!
loose yourself where you going
you can't commit to none
when you snooze it out

you'r washed out on a shore
far away from all you'v never had before
i am just letting you all know know know

it's a cold cold night tonight
so when you'r boarding up your windows
you board 'em tight
well it's a hard knock life to fight
so when your pouring on your pillows
you pour 'em dry
tomorrow then will make it alright

mixed up?
is the fool dancing in love?
well you suffocate yourself
when you claim you know it all
it's a matter of games and thrones

now head's up
loose yourself where you'r going
you suffocate our lives
you claim that you know it all
you'r washed out on a shore
far away from all you'v never had before
i am just letting you all know know know

it's a cold cold night tonight
so when you'r boarding up your windows
you board 'em tight
well it's a hard knock life to fight
so when your pouring on your pillows
you pour 'em dry
tomorrow then will make it alright

mixed up?
is a fool's dance loving?
